Against Me! Ditch Major Label

Against Me! have left their label, Sire/Warners saying "We have nothing but gratitude towards all the people we worked with at the label and feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to make the records we made..."

Frontman, Tom Gabel also apologised for cancelling tour dates in October and November blaming personal circumstances:

"Cancelling tour dates is the last thing that we ever want to do, especially when the dates have us going to some of our favorite places in the world, but this past October a culmination of circumstances were engulfing us and we had to take some time off from touring to go home and sort things out."

The band are optimistic about the future and are due to start working with new drummer Jay Weinberg who has worked with hardcore band Madball as well as Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.

" In January we're going to be heading out with Fences and Cheap Girls for a couple weeks before joining the Dropkick Murphy's in their month long celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.

Specifics about all the shows should be up on the website shortly if they aren't already. At some point this new year we also hope to reschedule the Australia, Europe and the U.K. canceled tour dates."
